VIC: Fuel leak controlled south east of Melbourne

A fuel leak south-east of Melbourne has been brought under control after 10 litres of
petrol produced a 200-metre slick from a fuel jetty.

The Fire Brigade and the Environment Protection Authority stemmed the flow of fuel from an
underground tank at the jetty at the Patterson River Marina shortly after midnight.

Fire retardant chemicals and booms were placed in the water to halt the spread.
