SCOUTS TO HONOR 5 WOMEN.(CAPITAL REGION)

Former mayor A.C. Riley and Mary Caroline Powers, executive editor with National Trade Publications, will be among five women honored tonight at the Adirondack Girl Scout Council's second annual Women of Distinction dinner.

Riley and Powers, both city residents, are being saluted for their distinguished achievements, excellence in their profession, community leadership and as role models for today's young women. Also being honored are Betty Ann Dodds of Queensbury, Peggy Eyres of Selkirk and Anita Glennon of Granville.
