Street heat delays Bush's Iraqi war plans

Crediting the millions of people literally from around the world for putting on their marching shoes to say "no" to a military attack of Iraq, Black and white civil rights leaders Sunday cal??? it a "peoples' victory" and vowed not to turn up the heat.

One of those leaders was the Rev. Jesse L. Jackson, who spoke before two million people during an anti-war rally at Hyde Park in London, England.

There, Jackson thanked them for "putting your bodies in the path of the war machine" especially the youth he credited for "helping to energize a new peace movement on both sides of the Atlantic. When young people rise up, the world rises," he stated.
