Fed: Macfarlane faces rate questions at last committee hearing

The recent interest rate rises will be high on the agenda when outgoing Reserve Bank
governor IAN MACFARLANE faces his last parliamentary grilling today.

The governor will retire next month after a decade in the top position with his deputy
.. GLENN STEVENS .. replacing him.

It's the first time Mr MACFARLANE has faced the committee .. since rates rose to six per cent.
